In 6th grade, I was programming video games on a PET computer. In 1997, I started my first blog. In 1998, I was the resident Flash guy at hot integrated agency. Then, I hopped around several agencies—both digital and traditional—for a few years. In 2001, some friends and I started Traction. Traction calls itself an interactive agency, but we believe everything is interactive. We are part advertising agency, part innovation consultancy. We are exceptionally good at aligning psychology and technology to create ideas that solve business problems. It's the reason we've been named the top interactive agency in the country. It's the reason we work with the best brands in the world. And it's our goal to be a leader in designing innovative brand experiences that align business challenges with the needs, desires and behaviors of the people they serve.

I never knew I wanted to work in interactive media. I was an illustrator and film maker by design and a designer and copywriter by necessity. In 1993, a roommate introduced me to email; I was intrigued. In 1994, I went to my first website; I was underwhelmed. In 1997, I coded my first website; now the world could see me and my brilliance in 3 animated frames and 256 colors . Needless to say, the internet, media, and what I do have changed rapidly over the past 14 years. I have been riding this strange digital tsunami as it has collided with my other passions: animation, film-making and story telling. I would like to believe that my clients have reaped the benefits of my mash-up experience... But you will have to judge that for yourself.
