Senior Front-End Developer

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. Candidates should have prior experience working on advanced projects.  This is a contract position, with possible Full-Time potential.

Responsibilities:

• Creating HTML5 pages from design comps
• Develop Advanced JavaScript applications
• Creating CSS3 layout and animations
• Optimization of graphic elements
• Work with the web developers and designers

Qualifications and Skills:

• Hand code HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Advanced senior-level knowledge of JavaScript, with and without libraries
• Experience developing complex single-page JavaScript applications
• Familiarity with one or more JavaScript MVC frameworks such as SproutCore, Backbone, Cappuccino, etc.
• Experience with Canvas and SVG (exp. with fabric.js a plus)
• High Attention to detail to maintaining design integrity throughout the build process
• Mobile web development experience
• Code to W3C Standards and Specifications
• Knowledge of accessibility Specifications
• Proficient in Subversion and Git
• Debugging cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility issues
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
• General proficiency in Photoshop

Additional Skills a plus:

• Ruby, Python, PHP, Perl, XML, Flash/Actionscript, Mobile App Development, IT skills
