Traction has had a long relationship with Adobe and the Education team. Last year, Traction created a social media campaign designed to raise awareness of Creative Cloud and Adobe's student pricing. The program recently won a silver Addy for best Social Media Program. 

Back in September, I had posted a sneak peak teaser video from Myspace starring one of the site’s major sponsors: Justin Timberlake. And if anyone could bring sexy back to the once major player in social media, it is definitely Justin.

Back in January of last year I wrote a post about the new Facebook Messaging platform. In short, it was Facebook's new way of integrating all the many ways people communicate: email, text, instant messaging. The idea is that messages are messages. The experience you have on your phone, in text, or email should all be integrated. It has been called the "Email-killer."

I'm am a woman between the age of 18 and 34. I'm pretty young but old enough to join the military. I'm of Asian/Pacific Islander decent, but definitely American. I recently attended a webinar about social media analytics. I’m always wary of these webinars as they tend to try to sell you something and since this was a Q&A panel, I was also wary that the discussion would be all over the place. I was pleasantly surprised it was neither.

Hubspot hosted the webinar with a panel of speakers taking questions via Twitter hash tag. There were approximately 5,000 people in attendance, so you can imagine that the feed went really fast (and easily a trending topic on Twitter within minutes). The speakers represented different perspectives of social media measurement from the small business/entrepreneur business side to the software analytics side.

Although there were lots of good points in the webinar, I’ve filtered the hour long Q&A to the following key takeaways...

Back in November, Facebook announced their new messaging system that integrates email (your own @facebook email address), instant messaging, and SMS/text all in one place. But this hasn't rolled out to everyone just yet.
