Russell is Traction's resident renaissance man: part musician, part pilot, part ROI fanatic rolled into one. He began his career in account management & strategic planning at Winkler Advertising working on traditional campaigns for Nikon and Sony. From there, Russell went on to Foote Cone & Belding to work on traditional and first-ever interactive efforts for larger brands like AT&T and Levis as well as helping to launch it's first interactive division. Then, while at Lowe & Partners, he helped launch Java as well as Sun Microsystems first-ever globally integrated interactive and traditional ad campaign.
As one of the founding Principals of SF Interactive in San Francisco, he spent nearly four years as Director of Account Services and Business Development strategically and creatively pushing the boundaries of interactive marketing for Yahoo, HP, Netscape, Babycenter, Ford, Jiffy Lube, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Red Envelope, Snapple and too many half baked ".coms" to mention.
