ZoneAlarm : ForceField Beta Launch

ZoneAlarm wanted to launch ForceField, an innovative PC security solution. It was the first security solution that wasn’t tethered to the desktop. You could log on from any computer and be protected. The challenge was to convince people who had already purchased a security software package, that they needed another layer of protection.

The campaign featured an engaging digital brand experience. It illustrated the complex technology that powered ForceField in a way that anyone could understand. We used the idea of body doubles to show how it worked. And let people blow stuff up to put a smile on their faces. ZoneAlarm also offered a free beta download of the product.

Together

In six weeks, the microsite received 104,419 visits with 68,849 completed downloads. A staggering two thirds of site visits resulted in a beta download.

And together, ZoneAlarm and Traction rolled out the product to an interested audience.
